Our clients moved out of London to gain space to accommodate their growing family, only to find they were starting to grow out of their new home in Haslemere. They seemed to constantly be looking for storage space, had limited areas to entertain in and their daughters kept arguing over who should have the smaller bedroom. A change was needed, but as they loved their home they wanted to extend and improve rather than move again.

Our proposal works with the unusual plot dimensions, allowing us to drop the extension away from the boundaries, almost creating a corner extension with a roof line that mimics the original form.

The generous extension delivers enough room for a large, social kitchen diner with bi-folds opening out to the garden. Upstairs, critically, two equal sized rooms were created, along with a much desired additional bathroom! Creating a happy and harmonious family home.

Project status:  In planning

We enjoy working with Simon from George and James Architects on our home extension. He understands what we were looking for and has been a pleasure to work with. Great ideas and designs
